My Storefront is open

I started this website with the sole idea that I would be promoting my novel, The Trials of Adrian Wheeler--and that was all. Needless to say, that wasn't all. It was Lisa Smith, my publisher at L&L Dreamspell, who suggested I add my paintings and poetry, and so I did. Once I uploaded my paintings it occurred to me I might as well offer them for sale. So, here we are several months and hundreds of uploads later.

Through this blog, I am asking any of you who have the time (and interest) to look through my poetry in particular and give me your thoughts. As you will see, most of my poems are not touchy-feely. Rather, I am hoping they raise questions worth discussing. I will leave that to you.

As for my paintings, for the most part, they are not touchy-feely either. Some are dark in a rather bright way and others are merely bright, but hopefully all touch some emotional chord, as that was my intent--and still is. Art, all art, is about touching an emotional chord with the recipient, at least in my opinion. Again, your comments are welcome. If you have a favorite painting or drawing, please let me know.

Thanks for visiting SteveShear.net.
