This is my blog, but you are welcome to visit my main site, www.steveshear.net to get information about my books, art and interests.
I'm hoping to start a conversation about all sorts of things on this blog, and I look forward to hearing what everyone has to say.
Thanks for the wonderful PCT seminar and in particular for the wonderful words of wisdom. I checked out SteveShear.net. It is difficult to leave comments on the site without a blogging account. In any event, here are my thoughts.
ReplyDelete1. Paintings: Why did you bother with law school? :-) You are an excellent, excellent Painter. The works do not look like the "run of the mill" paintings that pervase the universe. They seem to have more depth and unique qualities. I liked a few of them, the Chess Queen?, Lydia, incredible paintings. So, keep painting, you are doing it right....
2. Trials of Adrian Wheeler: First, excellent book again. I can now understand why you left the law. You are a great artist/writer. The synopsis reads better than you tell it for sure. It captures the current event of our time. Adrian is faced with PTSD, brother, court martial, etc. issues related to Iraq. Very interesing. I think however, that John Mike should not have two first names and should have the same name as Wheeler for consistency - the trials or inconsistencies should be left to the issues faced by Adrian. Second, while I understand the booked is themed around the trials of Adrian Wheeler, there appears to be quite a few trials, unless the entire book blends it all in. But overall, very interesting and one that I would definitely read. FYI, my favorite authors are Chinua Achebe, Jeffery Archer, Dan Brown, Sidney Sheldon and Ngozi Adichie.... Cheers
